Today was a cool crisp fall day and it felt like a good time to make cookies. Actually, I wanted to make cookies last night but was short of a few major ingredients.
I went to my favorite online recipe site, Allrecipes.com and searched for a pumkin cookie recipe. I found this one, Pumpkin cookies, and since all the reviewers had nothing but wonderful things to say about it- I thought it would be a good one to try. It took no time at all to mix up and only 10 minutes in the oven. They are absolutely wonderful. Light and fluffy- a lot like eating a muffin top!! Of course, While i was getting these photos off my camera I accidentally forgot the second batch in the oven for too long and they are quite brown- but still tasty! The recipe calls for icing but I left it off- they are deeeelish on their own. This recipe is a definite keeper.
My sister has been egging me on to putting together a book of some of the great recipes I've collected over the years... this one is going in there for sure. Once I get around to it...
Anyway that's my food blog for the month LOL! Hopefully I have something new to share soon- Sharing recipes with photos is fun!

Hey! I made pumpkin spice cookies last week too :)It's a trend I guess when the cool weather comes to start baking all those yummie fall faves.

No Worries Suz, Ken wouldn't eat them either because they contained pumpkin... perhaps I'll try beer flavour next time LOL!!

They look great, too bad they are made with pumkin otherwise I would dive right in. Maybe I'll have to just ignore the pumkin and taste them anyway.
